She Creates Embarks on an Exciting Journey in 2024: New Committee and Enhanced Structure Promise Greater Support for Adelaide’s Female Creatives
She Creates, the driving force behind empowering women in Adelaide’s creative community, has announced ambitious plans for 2024 with the introduction of a new committee and a reimagined organizational structure.
Established in 2019 as a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization, She Creates has been steadfast in its mission to inspire, promote, and advocate for women in the city’s creative communications industry. Over the years, it has evolved into a pivotal entity in fostering gender diversity and inclusion in the sector.
Looking ahead, She Creates is set to introduce its dynamic vision for 2024 under the leadership of Co-Chairs Amy Lambert and Elise Rundell. Lambert, the owner of Creative Studio Make Create and a founding member of She Creates, brings a wealth of experience from her tenure at the Adelaide Advertising & Design Club (AADC). Rundell, Marketing Manager at Studio Nine Architects, is known for her innovative contributions, having played a key role in organizing successful events like the ‘Deep Dive into Design’ speaker series and the Net-series micro-networking events.
Joining Lambert and Rundell are Hannah Pendlebury, Chair of Communications, and Manuela Mazzaferro, Chair of Events, along with a dedicated subcommittee comprising Alisha Rout, Sarah Anesbury, Renee van der Hoek, and Sarah Lufthaus. Together, they are poised to deliver an engaging lineup of events and initiatives throughout the year.
She Creates extends gratitude to outgoing Co-Chair Dena Vassallo and the 2023 committee for their contributions and dedication.
In a bid to foster collaboration, She Creates will closely collaborate with the AADC in 2024. The four She Creates Chairs will also join the AADC Executive Committee, creating opportunities for alignment and growth.
Amy Lambert, Co-Chair of She Creates, expressed excitement about deepening the partnership with the AADC, emphasizing the importance of driving positive change and inclusivity within the creative community.
Members of She Creates and the wider creative community can anticipate a calendar filled with enriching events, networking opportunities, mentorship programs, and resources to support their professional growth. Kicking off the year is the She Creates ‘anti-corporate’ International Women’s Day event on March 7th at Hotel Alba, promising a refreshing take on celebrating women in the industry.
Elise Rundell, Co-Chair of She Creates, invites women within the creative communications industry to join their vibrant community, promising an exceptional year ahead with a fresh new look and a dynamic committee.
