New York, NY, August 27, 2024: NYC-based audio post studio Mr. Bronx has hired Zach Fortin as Executive Producer. Fortin joins from his previous role as Executive Producer at Preymaker and Method/Company3, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business from fewer than ten employees to over 60. He also worked on major campaigns including Beyoncé’s Super Bowl commercial with Verizon, and with brands including Xfinity and State Street, among others. With extensive experience in the production and visual effects spaces, as well as in building strong teams and client relationships, Fortin will now leverage his skills to drive Mr. Bronx’s new business development and scale the company.
Notes Mr. Bronx founder and Mixer David Wolfe, “Zach has been an amazing addition to the Bronx team. His background in the visual side of the industry is strongly influencing how we think about film and our approach to sound design. His encouraging and supportive leadership style has quickly won everyone over, and he has us all excited to push our creative output even further.”
Adds Zach, “Mr. Bronx and the entire team, especially after working so closely with Dave and Geoff Strasser, have presented a golden opportunity where I can fuse my business-side strategy experience with my passion for creativity. I’m incredibly excited to see where the company will grow from here and am glad to work alongside Dave and his roster of talented sound designers and mixers to scale the long-standing business even further.”
With a lifelong passion for art, Fortin has always been artistic, taking art classes throughout school. Although he considered pursuing industrial design, his social nature led him into the service industry, exposing him to various environments and eventually steering him toward advertising, where the blend of social dynamics and creativity resonated with him. From there, he joined Preymaker as an Executive Producer, and his friendship with Mr. Bronx Sr. Mixer and Sound Designer Geoff Strasser led to consulting with Mr. Bronx on various projects. These collaborations sparked further conversations, eventually leading him into the new role. Fortin has consistently embraced the social aspects of business, using them as opportunities to foster connections and grow ventures.
Outside of the studio, Fortin continues to pursue his interest in art by creating his own paintings and has a passion for cars.
