Motion Sickness has picked up multiple accolades at Campaign’s Agency of the Year awards last night in Singapore, with Founder & ECD Sam Stuchbury taking home 2 x Golds for both AU/NZ Creative Leader & Agency Head titles, and Motion Sickness awarded Gold for AU/NZ Boutique Agency of the Year, and Silver for both AU/NZ independent and NZ Creative Agency of the Year.
Announced last night at the Pan Pacific Orchard, the results mark a defining moment in what has been a defining year for the independent.
“This particular show is close to my heart,” says Alex McManus, Partner & GM at Motion Sickness. “It puts a real spotlight on the powerful creativity that comes from our part of the world, and reinforces what we already know about New Zealand and Australia competing on the global stage. It’s also the only award entries I’m tasked with writing each year, so there’s that too.”
This recognition comes off the back of a remarkable 12 months for Motion Sickness, including six pieces of metal at Cannes (two x Grand Prix), five Golds at the Aotearoa Effies including the Grand Effie, ONE Asia Agency of the Year, and LIA Regional Independent of the Year for ANZ – alongside a run of major new-business wins and continued growth across multiple markets.
Says McManus, “We don’t take these accolades lightly – and of course there’s such a talented group of ambitious team members and incredible clients behind the work that deserve all the credit. It’s the perfect way to cap off what’s been an incredible year.”
