London, 17th February: Modular agency Modern Citizens today announces the appointment of Toprak Özturan as Managing Director of Modern Citizens NL. Özturan will report directly to CEO, Matthew Robinson and will be responsible for leading the agency’s Netherlands division, driving innovative content strategies, social-first campaigns and digital engagement across key accounts.
Özturan will work alongside existing Managing Director Robbert Gangadin until March, when he will be departing to pursue new opportunities.
With an extensive career spanning global ad agencies such as Annex 88, Grey New York, DDB and Wieden + Kennedy, Özturan brings a unique blend of big-brand thinking and social-first brand activation, having worked with numerous high profile brands such as Heineken, Volvo, and DHL.
Her work has been recognised globally, including the award-winning “The Next Rembrandt” campaign for ING Bank, which seamlessly blended technology, data and art.
In her new role, Özturan will focus on driving growth, optimising client relationships and leading high-performing teams. She will leverage her expertise in digital, social and influencer marketing to enhance Modern Citizens’ approach to integrated strategies, ensuring continued engagement and impact across platforms.
