Minesweeper-Inspired Roguelite Let’s! Revolution! is Now Available on Steam

BUCK’s innovative tile-flipping puzzler features whimsical art design, steady progression, and a roster of unique, upgradable heroes 

LOS ANGELES – July 20, 2023 – Award-winning creative studio BUCK is thrilled to announce that its first game, Let’s! Revolution!, is out today. The roguelite puzzler pits players against an odious King and his minions, blending deductive reasoning and tile-flipping gameplay with roguelite progression and replayable runs. Let’s! Revolution! is now available on PC and Mac via Steam with full Steam Deck support. To mark the occasion, Let’s! Revolution! is temporarily priced at $16.99 – a 15-percent discount off its normal price of $19.99.

Let’s! Revolution! is set in the whimsical Kingdom of Beebom, which is being exploited by a vain and despotic King. Six playable heroes, who have their own beefs with the exploitative ruler, represent different regions that have been affected by the King’s unrelenting search for precious resources.

Characters have their own unique movesets, too, which change the core tile-flipping gameplay in significant and surprising ways. Some are adept at tanking hits as they uncover the King’s escape route, while others are built around stealth and avoiding combat altogether.

Players can unlock persistent upgrades through runs, steadily adding new options and item synergies over time. Randomized board layouts, uniquely capable characters, and several levels of New Game+ combine to create a game that’s easy to learn but tough to put down. Steam Deck support makes Let’s! Revolution! a perfect travel companion. 

The soundtrack, from frequent BUCK collaborator Antfood, perfectly accompanies the brain-bending gameplay with original compositions inspired by Beebom’s fantastical cultures and lands. The soundtrack will be available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Tidal, Apple Music, Deezer, and Steam, and is bundled with the game for $23.99 or sold separately for $6.99.

BUCK has worked with partners including Microsoft, Apple, and Nike. Most recently, BUCK worked on the Gwen Stacy-narrated opening sequence in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Let’s! Revolution! is the first game that BUCK has independently developed, despite leveraging its bold creative vision on animations for EA Sports, Riot Games, and Supercell.
