For more than 18 years, the most important contemporary art fair in Latin America, ZsONAMACO, promoted a circuit that brought together artists, collectors and public in Mexico City during the first weekend of February; Later, thanks to independent proposals such as the Material Art Fair, the brand new Salon Cosa and the Salon ACME, it was possible to called this dates “Mexico City Art Week”; each time with a larger and more diverse scope and with a greater sense of democratizing art. This 2022, for the first time after pandemic, we will be able to enjoy the cultural capital of Latin America with a huge and diverse programing.
Mexico City Art Week is an all-encompassing art exhibition, not only does it provide a space for international artists to exhibit their work, it also doesn’t place limits on the type of artwork shown. Everything from paintings, sculpture, prints, mixed media, events installations and much more is welcomed and included at the event.

ZoNAMACO is the largest art fair platform in Latin America. Founded in 2002 by Zélika García, it holds four events annually at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City the show brings together leading and emerging national and international art galleries.

Galerie Philia is delighted to present Transatlántico, a fully immersive exhibition of sculptural design from Latin America, taking place in Mexico City from 8-12 February 2022.
Coinciding with Zona Maco, the exhibition spotlights the new generation of Latin American designers, hailing from Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic, in dialogue with leading designers from Europe exhibited in Mexico for the first time. In line with Galerie Philia’s core philosophy, Transatlántico celebrates artistry as a medium to transcend societal, cultural and geographical boundaries, using design to bridge Latin American and European discourses and influences within the creative sphere.
