New York, NY, September 11, 2026 – Method1, the independent strategy, creative and media agency grounded in behavioral science and specializing in indulgence brands, today announced the appointment of Jessy Magor to the new position of Head of Growth.

Magor joins Method1 after 15 years in the advertising industry, including more than eight years at The Variable, where she most recently served as Senior Director of Marketing & Growth. She helped lead the independent agency’s new business efforts, marketing, and executive visibility, including securing partnerships with brands including Coca-Cola, Liquid Death, Charbroil Grills, Pit Boss, Counter Culture Coffee, and Thorogood Boots. She was also responsible for building the social capability at the agency, taking it from a single client to an annualized revenue stream.

In her new role, Magor will lead new business, marketing, and agency growth, with a focus on expanding Method1’s portfolio of client partnerships.

“Jessy is a builder,” said Jodi Heelan, CEO of Method1. “She knows how to define an agency’s differentiators and turn it into growth, whether that means winning accounts, creating new capabilities, or building a reputation that opens doors. I’ve seen firsthand the impact she can have when those pieces work together, and am excited about how she will use her skills to take Method1 to its next stage of development.”

Her appointment comes as Method1 continues to invest in the behavioral science expertise that underpins its work with indulgence brands. This year, the agency launched its inaugural State of Indulgence research, a study of 1,200 U.S. consumers examining the motivations behind indulgence and the forces shaping consumer choice. The research is the first in an ongoing series designed to give brands a deeper understanding of why consumers choose products and how those motivations can inform growth.

“Method1 has a strong foundation and clear point of view on what drives people to choose,” said Magor. “What excites me is the opportunity to build on that, help more brands see the value of Method1’s approach, and create new opportunities for the agency to grow. I’ve always been drawn to places where strategy, creativity, and business come together, and Method1 has all of those pieces.”

Before The Variable, Magor held agency and in-house roles at Bright+Co, Movement Mortgage, and EP+Co, with experience across account leadership, marketing, strategy, social, and communications.
