Independent creative agency Pereira O’Dell has hired Juliana Constantino, former global creative product lead at Meta, as executive creative director

Juliana spent over eight years at Meta, her first five at Facebook and later Instagram, ultimately leading global creative product for the Instagram Creative Lab. Most notably in 2017, she led the go-to-market strategy for innovative products within Instagram, tasked with driving engagement and excitement for new products including Reels, Stories and IGTV. She played a pivotal creative role in connecting brands with Creators, generating ideas and content to introduce the new platform tools for the first time.

Juliana joins Pereira O’Dell’s existing creative leadership team: CCO, Rob Lambrechts, co-executive creative director, Jason Apaliksi, and co-founder and creative chairman, PJ Pereira to oversee creative nationally. Earlier this year, Pereira O’Dell announced a re-organisational shift from a bi-coastal to national model.

Founders PJ Pereira and Andrew O’Dell say that Juliana’s arrival will accelerate the agency’s innovation-driven approach with her native social mindset.

“Juliana and I worked together a long time ago, and she may have been the only creative to ever out-geek me,” says PJ Pereira, “She strengthens our ability to connect data and creativity, and foster a stronger connection with Maker Culture. In today’s world, understanding this is vital to understanding how people consume information and entertainment.”

“We’re in the business of bringing big ambitions to life – for our brand partners and for ourselves. With Juliana’s background, we couldn’t choose a more perfect person to lead us into the next chapter of Pereira O’Dell,” says Andrew O’Dell.

Juliana also shares big ambitions for her role, especially in terms of Pereira O’Dell is experimenting with AI, “In this transformative era, the popularization of AI and other emerging technologies is revolutionising creativity. Processes like prototyping and execution are becoming easier, freeing up space for our ideas to soar. We are witnessing the emergence of a new level of creativity unlocked by technology. Or the other way around. And we want to be in the driver’s seat,” says Constantino.

Pereira O’Dell’s current client roster includes MINI USA, Adobe, the Ad Council, Zelle, IHOP and Yellow Tail Wine. Juliana will work across all brands, nationally.
