July 2026 – Brazilian singer Marina Sena stars in the latest music video from “Nosso Canto,” a project created by agency NOVA for Sebrae. Performing the Brazilian classic “Feira de Mangaio,” the artist leads a production filmed at the historic Ver-o-Peso Market Complex in Belém, Pará, celebrating Amazonian culture while showcasing stories of small businesses built on traditional knowledge, creativity, and the natural resources of the rainforest.
“Nosso Canto” uses music as a storytelling platform to highlight entrepreneurship and connect audiences with Brazil’s rich cultural diversity. In each release, renowned artists reinterpret classic Brazilian songs while the accompanying music videos introduce entrepreneurs and small businesses supported by Sebrae in different regions of the country.
In the new video, Marina Sena walks through the bustling stalls of Ver-o-Peso, meeting local entrepreneurs such as Maria Magalhães, who has spent 22 years producing handcrafted baskets and woven products made from natural fibers. With support from Sebrae, Maria has improved her business management and professionalized her production while preserving the traditional techniques and cultural identity of Pará.
“With Sebrae’s support, I realized I needed to modernize. I’m organizing my finances, taking courses, and learning that art, when well managed, can also become a successful business,” says Maria.
According to Rodrigo Soares, President of Sebrae Nacional, the project shines a spotlight on small businesses while celebrating Brazil’s cultural diversity.
“Through Nosso Canto, we give visibility to entrepreneurs from different regions of the country and connect Brazilian music and culture with the stories, knowledge, and identity of millions of Brazilians. It’s a way of recognizing those who transform tradition, creativity, and expertise into opportunities for income generation and development,” he said.
For NOVA, the agency behind the campaign, the music video reinforces the connection between identity, place, and economic development.
“Nosso Canto was created to turn music into a meeting point for artists, entrepreneurs, and local communities. Each music video expands the meaning of a song by revealing the real stories of people who build businesses rooted in their own culture and identity. In Feira de Mangaio, that connection becomes even stronger by showing how Amazonian traditions and creativity also drive development and create opportunities,” said Ana Paula Terra, Client Services Director at NOVA.
