São Paulo, August 29, 2024. Magalu will surprise its gamer audience this Thursday, Gamer’s Day, with a campaign developed by DRUID Creative Gaming. After announcing, in teasers, exclusive offers for Magalu Gamer Week – from August 26 to 31 – influencers will make special campaign lives with reviews of various games. But instead of the traditional PC and console games that exist on Magalu, they will actually show other types of games, more focused on everyday life and which also have offers on the Magalu app. In the game, they will present products such as a glass set, a bedding set, a tool set and even a tire set.
The idea is to show the variety of products and “games” available on the Magalu app and website and surprise the gamer community with items they need when they’re not playing. The campaign features special lives on the channels of the biggest streamers in Brazil, such as Coringa, Nayu, Rano, Sabrinoca, Caiox and Brino, as well as social media pieces and on more than 100 streaming channels using Warrior Streaming Media technology.
“We believe in the potential of humorous communication with a focus on entertainment. We know that this appeal works and leaves its mark on the public’s memory,” says Tatiana Carvalho, spokesperson for Magalu. “DRUID’s proposal met what we were looking for to intensify our communication with the gamer community, who are extremely important customers for the entire Magalu ecosystem.”
“Gamers are more than gamers, they are normal people who do everything and consume all kinds of products. So to celebrate Gamer’s Day in a special way, we’ve created this new campaign for Magalu, thinking about gamers’ daily lives and bringing suggestions of ‘other games’ that they need for real life and which have exclusive offers on the Magalu app. All using streaming, which is one of the main ways of connecting gamers with their favorite content,” says Rafael Hessel, General Creative Director at DRUID. This is the first campaign signed by DRUID for Magalu. The agency was responsible for all the creative, strategy, influencers and content.
