This year, LIA, working together with The Drum, is offering three places to its highly sought-after Creative LIAisons Global Coaching academy.
To be considered for the programs, all agencies included, in the 2025 Drum World Creative Rankings, are invited to nominate one of their young creatives for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for either a place in the all-expenses-paid by LIA, Creative LIAisons onsite program in Las Vegas running concurrently with LIA judging or to be a part of the 2025 virtual coaching cohort. All nominations must be submitted to The Drum, which will then determine the winners for these placements. All nominees must be between the ages of 21-35 years.
Creative LIAisons is an initiative established in 2012 to develop, educate, inspire and nurture emerging talent. To date, it has fully funded over 1500 young creatives from all over the globe. This exclusive onsite program gives the next generation of talent the opportunity to learn from the most experienced and awarded people in our industry through seminars, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and especially through the unique experience of sitting in the judging rooms during statue discussions. It also includes a networking party with all jurors, LIAisons speakers, onsite LIAisons mentees, creative excellence directors, press and LIA guests.
The Creative LIAisons Virtual Coaching, which began in 2021, offers mentees the rare opportunity to have one-on-one mentoring sessions with three established industry leaders from around the globe. Coaches will share their expertise and experiences from their many years in the industry. These bespoke online coaching sessions are customized between coach and mentee and can cover all disciplines with emphasis on skill development, elevating ideas and boosting creative confidence to fast-track careers.
Both the onsite and virtual offerings have been lauded and recognized by the top global creative people in the industry as one of the most valuable training tools in our industry. Many of the Creative LIAisons alumni are now high level creatives and an elite few have been invited back as LIA jurors or coaches.
Laurissa Levy, Creative LIAisons & Events Director, said, “We know the industry is very competitive. In order to thrive, young creatives need to broaden their horizons and be open to possibilities. They have to always be willing to pivot and adapt to the ever changing industry, through learning and connection with people. As Mary Wells Lawrence, the first woman to own and run a major national agency put it, you have to ‘endlessly stretch what you know.’ That’s the aim of Creative LIAisons. We want creative people to never stop growing creatively and personally.”
The five-day Creative LIAisons onsite program will take place from 27th September through 1st October, 2025 in Las Vegas at Encore @ Wynn Hotel and will run concurrently with LIA judging.
