This Rush season, Kotex is not only helping women “own their flow” but also helping potential new members (PNMs) to own the moment nationwide.
Immersed in a high-stakes environment filled with excitement, expectations, and Rush-specific rules of etiquette, PNMs across the country are facing a uniquely stressful challenge: the Rush-known pressure to avoid using the bathroom at any house, no matter how badly they need to go, for fear of signaling disinterest. As a result, PNMs are expected to power through Rush marathons without tending to their most basic hygiene needs, from sweat and stains to touch-ups and, of course, managing their periods.
During Rush, the bid card is the ultimate ticket in. Now, Kotex is giving it another purpose: a ticket to stocking sorority houses with feminine care for the year. PNMs nationwide can show their coveted bid card to unlock a share of nearly one million Kotex pads and liners for their houses, helping put a year’s supply of period protection in the hands of sorority sisters nationwide.
Kotex is also showing up on campus during Rush Week at University of Arizona with a luxury KX VIP Lounge, situated directly on Greek Row from August 29th– August 30th. Designed to give girls the confidence boost, bathroom break, and air-conditioned respite they crave amidst extreme heat and the pressure to feel and look their best, Kotex’s on-site lounge will include:
- Private restrooms
- “Glow & Go” station that’s fully equipped for DIY touch-ups with cosmetics, haircare, skincare and more
- “Flowbar” station for expert recommendations with Kotex period products
- Selfie-ready mirrors for sharing the moment
- Campus creators and brand ambassadors on-site to guide PNMs through a quick and seamless journey of resting and refreshing
