April 20, 2026 (New York, NY) Global marketing agency Kepler has announced the appointment of Kim Garcia as Vice President, Head of Social, Entertainment and Culture, further strengthening the agency’s west coast presence and Kepler’s ability to help brands navigate the evolving intersection of content, creativity, and culture — an intersection that is increasingly shaping how and why people engage with brands.
The ANA defines culture as the “operating system” of human behavior, with 79% of marketers viewing it as critical to their strategy. Yet, many lack the tools, experience, and approach to activate within it effectively. In partnership with their clients, Kepler continues to invest in capabilities and experienced personnel that translate cultural insight into measurable impact for brands.
In her new role, Garcia will lead the strategic vision of Kepler’s social practice, expanding the agency’s capabilities in content and social experiences (online and IRL), adding to the team’s recognized certifications in social campaign management, ad technology, and marketing analytics. Garcia now becomes the leader of Kepler’s influencer marketing practice, Kepler Influence, fusing creator authenticity seamlessly into omnichannel marketing initiatives. She will also play a key role in evolving Kepler’s cultural intelligence capabilities, helping clients stay ahead of the zeitgeist through a combination of trend intelligence, industry insights, and strategic partnerships across media, entertainment, and culture. By pairing real-time cultural fluency with structured insights, Garcia will ensure brands are not only reacting to culture, but actively shaping it.
Garcia brings nearly two decades of experience building brands through a social and cultural lens. She joins Kepler after running KMG Strategic Consultancy where she launched book[ed] and advised a range of startups, creators, and cultural figures on brand strategy, content development, and monetization. Prior to KMG, Garcia served as Global Chief Marketing Officer at Tagger Media, leading the company’s brand and go-to-market strategy through a period of rapid growth and its eventual acquisition by Sprout Social.
She spent seven years as an early leader at VaynerMedia, where she built and scaled the agency’s global entertainment division, leading integrated campaigns for major media companies including NBCUniversal, Warner Bros. Discovery, and A+E. Earlier in her career, Garcia led award-winning consumer marketing efforts at Discovery Channel, earning an Emmy and multiple PromaxBDA awards.
“Kim just gets it,” said Garrett Dale, Chief Media Officer and Co-Founder of Kepler. “She has a unique ability to understand both broad and niche cultures, then turn those insights into valuable growth strategies for brands. We’re thrilled to have Kim on the team — her thought leadership and operational acumen is already having an immediate, positive impact.”
