SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Creator Deck, a diverse, woman- and minority-owned influencer and social marketing agency, has named Jordan Warren as its new Chief Executive Officer as part of the agency’s commitment to scaling its end-to-end, tech-enabled influencer and social marketing solutions.
Creator Deck is a pioneer in the industry, a “17-year-old agency in a 10-year-old space.” From launching the first online fashion social network, Chictopia, to engineering some of the earliest viral TikTok campaigns, the agency is known for combining human insight and technical innovation to drive business results. Founded by Berkeley engineers who brought a fresh perspective to fashion and marketing, Creator Deck now counts over a dozen L’Oréal brands, P.F. Chang’s and Open Farm among its clients. Today, the agency is investing in leadership built for what’s next.
“At this point in my career, I was looking for two things: a model that’s built for where culture is going, not where it’s been, and a team with the experience and passion to take us there,” said Warren. “Creator Deck has both.”
For Creator Deck, the hire brings new leadership at a moment of change—for both the agency and the industry. As consumers tune out traditional ads and marketers rethink how they spend, Creator Deck’s model—culture-first, data-smart, and engineered for scale—offers a way forward. Warren’s arrival helps the agency push that advantage even further.
“Influencer marketing is more than just a channel, it’s the foundation of how Gen Z and Millennials experience brands, and in the coming decade, almost all brands will need to re-invent their voice through social and influencer partnerships,” said Helen Zhu, Creator Deck’s founder and chairman. “Jordan understands that better than most, and his background gives us the edge to scale in a strategic, values-aligned way.”
Warren is a creative leader with an engineering and marketing background, and a track record of building independent agencies, having founded Bay Area agencies Eleven, Argonaut and TBD. He’s helped shape in-house teams at Apple and led work for major brands including Nike, Levi’s, Google, and AT&T. Most recently, he served in a fractional CEO capacity, advising founders of emerging independent agencies. He started his career in marketing at IBM and moved to the agency side at CKS where he built one of the first Internet marketing practices.
Warren’s engineering background brings a systems-first approach to creativity, helping the agency automate back-end workflows like creator outreach and reporting—while protecting the human storytelling and cultural nuance that make creator content work.
Warren also brings sharp instincts for market white space. He sees opportunity in helping brands navigate tighter budgets with smarter investments—especially as 62% of consumers now trust influencer content, compared to just 28% for traditional branded posts.
“We’re not here to make noise,” said Warren. “We’re here to help brands build authentic relationships that last. Today, it’s not about who has the loudest megaphone. It’s about engaging thousands of voices that people know and trust.”
