SHOREDITCH, LONDON – April 9, 2025 – Global branding business Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR) today announced the appointment of Stuart Radford as Executive Creative Director. A creative heavyweight with a track record of bold, culture-shaping work, Radford joins JKR to help push the boundaries of what the agency makes, where it plays, and how it shows up in the world.
Stuart’s appointment is a clear reflection of the agency’s continued evolution and expansion, marked by 25% growth in new categories over the last 12 months. JKR has successfully won new clients including tech giants (Uber, Mozilla, Yahoo), media icons (Paramount), financial disruptors (Chime), and the world’s largest omnichannel retailer (Walmart), testament to its experience in building distinctive brands across the entire consumer ecosystem.
Stuart arrives at JKR following an incredible 13-year journey at agencies such as Design Bridge and Partners, Superunion, and The Partners, where he helped shape some of the industry’s most awarded and celebrated work. He brings a wealth of experience spanning automotive (Aston Martin), aerospace (NASA), broadcast entertainment (BBC Two and Eurovision), and cultural institutions (London Symphony Orchestra)—a testament to JKR’s ongoing commitment to diversifying both its client portfolio and talent profile.
“At JKR, our goal is to assemble a disproportionate share of the industry’s top talent. It’s what gives us our distinct edge. It’s what fuels the work we create. Stuart is one of those talents. He’s known for his game changing work in branding and we’re looking forward to seeing him bring that expertise to our team and our clients,” says Tosh Hall, Global Chief Creative Officer at JKR.
Joining JKR fresh off being named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, Stuart is primed to help shape the agency’s next chapter.
“I’m excited to join JKR at such a pivotal time when the studio is evolving, expanding its influence into new sectors and pushing the boundaries of what branding can do. JKR has been on my radar for years, and now feels like the perfect moment to be part of their journey, helping shape the next era of JKR’s creative legacy,” say Radford.
As Stuart steps into the role of Executive Creative Director, Sean Thomas transitions to Global Executive Creative Director, alongside Lisa Smith. All three now report directly to Global Chief Creative Officer, Tosh Hall. To learn more about Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR), visit: www.jkrglobal.com.
