INNOCEAN appoints Jung A Kim as Global CEO of the network

The first woman to assume the position at the South Korean global network is part of the company's plans to set new directions for creativity and innovation.

INNOCEAN appoints Jung A Kim as Global CEO of the network

South Korean global network INNOCEAN announces the appointment of Jung A Kim as Global CEO, succeeding William Lee, who has led the network since 2020 and will continue to support global operations as a Senior Advisor, including during the transition period.

The first woman to assume the role of Global CEO of the South Korean network — and the first global leader to come from the creative department — Jung A Kim arrives with the goal of establishing new paths for creativity and innovation projects within the network, representing more than just a leadership transition.

“I am fully confident that Jung A Kim’s vision and leadership will inspire all INNOCEAN offices around the world and will have a very positive impact on us at INNOCEAN Brazil, not only in business, but also on the agency culture,” says John Lee, CEO of INNOCEAN Brazil.

At INNOCEAN since 2006, Jung A Kim has been the driving force behind the agency’s creative excellence and brand value, most recently serving as Chief Creative Officer at the parent company. His leadership is demonstrated by outstanding creative achievements, including the recent performance at Cannes Lions 2025, where INNOCEAN won its second consecutive Grand Prix with the branded content “Night Fishing,” created for Hyundai Motor Company and winner of the Entertainment Grand Prix. This achievement placed the network in a very select group of back-to-back champions at the world’s largest creativity festival.

Another strategic recognition that reinforces this trajectory occurred this month, when INNOCEAN was chosen as Agency of the Year at the ONE Asia Creative Awards 2025, an award organized by The One Club for Creativity for the APAC region — today the gravitational center of the cultural and technological transformations of the industry.

“These awards highlight our creative evolution and support the global movement we are building to position the brand as the most innovative and culturally influential network in the world. They also strengthen our operation in Brazil as an agency with global excellence in innovation and creativity,” adds Mauro Rabello, VP of Business Development at INNOCEAN Brazil.
