Illusionists celebrates the arrival of Fede Cummins to join the production company’s roster of directors. Fede has directed films for Coca-Cola, Visa, Stella Artois, and Brahma, among other major brands and agencies, many of which have been recognized at festivals such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, FIAP, Diente, and Lápiz de Platino. Based in Buenos Aires, the director has a solid international career, with projects filmed in Europe, Mexico, and Brazil under his belt.
Known for his comedic work with actors and for a storytelling style that blends cinematic precision with a keen eye for human behavior, Cummins also works as a screenwriter and maintains a constant curiosity for new narratives, languages, and formats. “At a time when humor and humanity seem to be under debate, Illusionists emerged for me as a creative coincidence. We speak the same language: respect for the idea, care for the craft, and the conviction that great works are built as a team. It’s a space where I can bring my experience as a director and continue to defend what has brought me here: good ideas, the sensitivity behind the humor, and cinema in service of telling the best possible story,” says Fede Cummins.
With the arrival of the director, Ilusionistas – a Brazilian production company with a universal vision – reinforces its movement to further broaden its creative scope and bring new voices to the directing team. In addition to the new studio, Fede will be able to count on the creative and commercial support of Boiler Hub, of which Ilusionistas is a part.
