Ford Performance Triumphs at Tatts Finke Desert Race with Ranger Raptor; Hype Republic Captures Victory in Stunning Mini Documentary
Ford Performance has achieved a remarkable victory at the Tatts Finke Desert Race, clinching the Production 4WD class title with the rugged Ford Ranger Raptor. The triumphant team was led by driver Brad Lovell and navigator Byam Lovell, conquering one of Australia’s most demanding off-road events.
The Tatts Finke Desert Race, renowned for its harsh Outback conditions, tests the limits of human endurance, vehicle performance, and production capabilities. Hype Republic played a crucial role in documenting this challenging event, capturing every moment of the #773 Ranger Raptor’s journey.
Under the direction of Allan Hardy ACS, Hype Republic’s small yet agile team, consisting of multi-skilled shooter/editors, a helicopter pilot, and a photographer, delivered daily content from the start line in Alice Springs to the remote Apatula desert campsite. Their expertise ensured that every detail of the Ranger Raptor’s adventure was captured with precision and creativity, with content broadcasted live to automotive and motorsport media.
Allan Hardy commented, “We thrive on the production challenges presented by events like the Finke Desert Race and are proud to have partnered with Ford Performance for the 2024 event. Our team’s ability to produce high-quality, fast-release videos and galleries, even from remote and harsh locations, sets us apart. We are excited to take on the challenge again next year!”
