Los Angeles, CA, December 1, 2025 — Hummingbird proudly welcomes award-winning director Scott Pickett to its roster. Pickett is known for a filmmaking style that blends cinematic craft, dry humor, and honest, grounded performances.
Pickett grew up in the Australian Outback and later earned his Master’s degree in Directing from the Australian Film, Television, and Radio School. His short films — including The Rouseabout and The Doppel Chain — have screened at festivals around the world and earned multiple awards. His television work has aired internationally on platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, ABC, and Sky TV.
Over the course of more than 100 commercial campaigns, Pickett has worked with brands including Apple, Google, IKEA, Toyota, Ford, Nestlé, McDonald’s, and Volkswagen. His work has been recognized with industry honors, including a Gold CLIO and a Bronze Lion at Cannes.
“Scott brings an exciting range of capabilities and a point of view that aligns with Hummingbird’s creative mission,” says Managing Partner and Executive Producer Olivia Berlin. “His ability to breathe life and humanity into character-rich, cinematic stories for clients across the globe makes him an invaluable addition to our roster.”
