As brands continue looking for ways to build consumer fandom beyond traditional limited-time menu drops, Jack in the Box is leaning into collectible culture with the return of its Jibbis, available exclusively with the limited-time Philly Cheesesteak Munchie Meal.
The first Jibbi release showed that the strategy can translate beyond social buzz. The drop became Jack in the Box’s strongest first-week limited-time Munchie Meal launch to date, with around 330K Munchie Meals sold and performance nearly double the brand’s average for similar launches.
With Jibbis 2.0, Jack is building on that momentum by introducing Sweet and Savory personalities, zodiac pairings and ultra-rare Boss Jibbis designed to drive fan conversation, repeat engagement and urgency around the Philly Cheesesteak Munchie Meal.
The launch offers a look at how Jack in the Box is using collectible drops to turn LTOs into a broader fandom play, giving consumers something to hunt for, compare and engage with beyond the meal itself.
