Reaching out from BUCK, the global design and animation studio behind the creative world-building in Dunkin’s new holiday campaign centered around their beloved MUNCHKINS Donut Hole Treats.
BUCK partnered with Dunkin’ and Artists Equity to bring their vision of extra joy to life, designing the animated film and building the cohesive visual world that stretches across storybook-inspired packaging, a children’s book, and the hero animated film.
The animated film is already beloved by Dunkin’ customers, kids and adults alike. Narrated by Dunkin’ fan Mindy Kaling, the heartwarming tale follows one tiny MUNCHKIN on a journey of belonging and joy through BUCK’s warm, storybook aesthetic.
That same visual language carries into an adorable children’s book, “The Little Holiday MUNCHKIN”, with proceeds benefitting the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation. The illustrations also appear across an exclusive Dunkin’ merch drop.

The packaging, available now, features the same MUNCHKINS characters in all sorts of silly scenarios, playfully illustrated in 2D. BUCK leveraged the cottage-esque carry boxes to give the Munchkins a cozy home and let them sled across lattes on the transparent cold cups.
