NEW YORK (November 21, 2024)—Household, the award-winning creative agency specializing in brand transformation, has appointed Tara Mellett as their U.S. president. In this role, Mellett will be responsible for driving stateside growth, building and leading a high performing team and scaling the U.S. side of the business. Based in New York, she will report to Group CEO, Julie Oxberry.

With Mellett at the helm of the U.S. business it will pave the way for strategic client acquisitions across key sectors; retail, food & beverage, consumer finance, entertainment, health & wellness, beauty, and lifestyle & sport, guided by a 360-degree approach to brand building that is deeply connected to human and cultural values.

Mellett brings over two decades of brand experience to the team across a variety of sectors. Prior to Household, she was the President of Phenomenon Marketing & Entertainment (now Human Standard), which won Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year Award. While serving as Global Account Lead for Pepsi during her time at TBWA\Chiat\Day, Mellett was responsible for relaunching the brand’s global masterbrand campaign. At Ground Zero, Mellett spent six years running the ESPN account. She is drawn to brands and businesses that are looking to grow and connect with their audience and new audiences in distinct ways.
