São Paulo, April 2026 — GUT announced this week the appointment of executive Vinicius Tieppo, who takes on the role of co-Chief Media Officer, and Leila Pereira, the agency’s new Media Director.

The move reinforces the evolution of the media department and positions the integration of media and creativity as a driver of results, already reflected in the significant growth of the area in recent years.

Vinicius Tieppo’s arrival marks the start of a strategic partnership with Chief Media Officer Douglas Silveira. Together, they aim to amplify the impact of media on clients’ businesses and on the agency’s creative output, strengthening integration across different areas. “Our industry is undergoing a profound transformation, impacting everything from internal processes to final delivery to clients. At GUT, I found the ideal ecosystem to operate with autonomy and full integration. This combination allows us to move with greater agility and a differentiated strategic vision, elevating the role of media as a key driver of business results for brands,” said Vinicius.

Leila Pereira joins to lead Ambev accounts, reporting directly to Guilherme Froiman, Media Group Director, reinforcing the team’s seniority and strategic capabilities.

Valeria Barone, CEO and partner at GUT, explains the investment in talent and seniority within the media department: “Over the years, with advances in technology and specialized skills, the media area has evolved significantly. At GUT, it has not only evolved but also grown and become the heart of the agency. Media is what amplifies, echoes, and empowers ideas to transform our clients’ businesses. Our collaborative methodology strengthens our effectiveness model, integrating strategy, creativity, data analysis, market insights, and technology in a synergistic way. This continuous expansion is key to keeping GUT a powerhouse in the advertising landscape, where media is not just a function, but the force that drives our clients’ success.”

With more than sixteen years of experience, Vinicius Tieppo has worked both in Brazil and in the Asian market, where he spent over three years. He has held roles at platforms such as Meta and Twitter, and agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, Mindshare, Wunderman, VML, and Leo, working with clients across various sectors such as Nike, Subway, Old Spice, Avon, Dell, Google, Fiat, Mondelez, Spotify, and Paramount.

With 10 years of experience in media, Leila Pereira has worked at Publicis, Le Pub, Talent, BETC, and David—where she began her career. She has handled mostly global clients such as Red Bull, TikTok, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Hershey’s, and many others, combining creativity with media expertise across different projects, as well as developing experience across multiple sectors, particularly consumer packaged goods (CPG).
