Google Pixel launches ‘Made for the beautiful chaos’ campaign to celebrate the summer of football
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

LONDON, 25 JUNE 2026: Google Pixel is embracing the summer of football with a global campaign celebrating the beautiful chaos of football fandom, created with sports specialist creative agency Dark Horses.

There is nothing quite like the anticipation and energy that comes along with a major tournament. The true magic of football lives in the pure effort of the athletes, the heart-stopping, hold-your-breath moments of fans in the stands waiting for a goal and the jerseys sold across the globe to those looking to support their team.

With a series of films, directed by Leigh Powis and produced by ProdCo, the campaign asks fans to embrace the beautiful chaos by leaning into real, unfiltered moments, captured by Pixel’s AI-powered camera features.

The fully integrated campaign brings Pixel’s global platform, “Ask more of your phone”, to life across every touchpoint. At the heart, there is a series of 30-second brand films created for France, Germany and Spain, alongside a broader spot designed to run across multiple international markets. Supporting these films are 30, 15 and 6-second product-focused edits tailored to each nation, highlighting specific Google Pixel camera features.

The multi-media campaign, is running until end of July when the World Cup draws to a close, is also running across out of home, social, digital display and in-store channels, with ads that capture the emotion and energy of football fandom through a series of striking stills shot by sports photographer and filmmaker, Jane Stockdale.

A suite of idents and social assets supporting Google Pixel’s 50% sponsorship of ITV and STV’s World Cup coverage in the UK have also been created, ensuring the brand is front and centre throughout fans’ viewing experience.

Omar Gurnah, Google Pixel EMEA Brand Director said: “With this campaign we set out to bring the beautiful chaos of football fandom to life. Fans feel an intense range of emotions throughout a tournament and Pixel is there in every moment, capturing the memories the way they truly feel.

Max Arkell, Head of Dark Horses, added: “Big football tournaments create a kind of collective chaos that only fans can generate. This summer, routines go out the window, emotions run high, and entire nations become united by moments of hope, tension, joy and heartbreak. This campaign is designed to position Google Pixel as the phone brand that understands football fandom best, helping fans capture, share and relive the moments that turn a tournament into lifelong memories.”
