Telstra, in collaboration with its newly formed agency partnership +61, has launched its inaugural campaign for Telstra Satellite Home Internet, powered by Starlink, featuring the acclaimed photographer Nadav Kander.
In this debut project for +61 and Telstra, the team collaborated with the renowned character designers at Odd Studio. With their extensive experience in prosthetic design for blockbuster films such as Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, and Thor: Love and Thunder, Odd Studio was the perfect choice to bring the campaign’s unique, local characters to life.
Brent Smart, Telstra’s Chief Marketing Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “Just months ago, +61 was still an idea, and now their first work is in the market. I love how ambitious, yet simple, this work is. And of course, it’s beautifully crafted, like everything Micah and his team does. We are just getting started.”
Micah Walker, Chief Creative Officer of Bear Meets Eagle On Fire, remarked, “It’s a distinctive campaign that lets Australians in more rural areas know that now there’s something floating around in space, just for them.”
This integrated campaign spans across various channels including out-of-home advertising, radio, in-store promotions, press, social media, digital platforms, and experiential activations.
