Five by Five will lead the VR specialist’s brand strategy and development, as it looks to cement its position as a major player in building the Metaverse
VR specialist Mesmerise has appointed independent creative and innovation agency Five by Five to lead on its global brand strategy and development, as it looks to cement its position as a major player in building the Metaverse.
Five by Five is now Mesmerise’s lead creative agency, and will be responsible for developing a new global brand identity and platform.
Launched in 2016, Mesmerise was at the forefront of creating immersive memorable enterprise level events using Virtual Reality. Most recently Mesmerise partnered with Morningstar to create the world’s first ever VR global investment conference.
Founded by ex-BBC, Sky and Microsoft executive, Andrew Hawken, and serial entrepreneur Daglar Cizmeci, the studio is supported by a strong tech team, with a stellar advisory board including an ex-Microsoft VP and a PwC vice chairman.
Andrew Hawken, Mesmerise founder, comments: “We were hugely impressed by Five by Five’s knowledge within this space and their track record of working with some of the biggest gaming brands in the world speaks for itself. We look forward to working with them, and with their support, taking Mesmerise to the next stage of our growth plan.”
Nick Lawton, CEO of Five by Five, adds: “The Metaverse is hugely topical right now, but we have been working with virtual worlds for many years now with our gaming clients. We’re really excited and proud to be working with Mesmerise, assisting them in strengthening their brand.”
This latest win builds upon Five by Five’s continued strength in the Metaverse sector, with the agency’s Sydney office recently appointed by Yesports – the world’s largest NFT and web3 platform for international esports teams – to manage its launch and growth ambitions. Alongside this, the agency has a significant history with major gaming clients, having notably worked with brands including Call of Duty, Fortnite, Valorant, and League of Legends.
