Fela Signs Writer and Director Luke Brookner for Commercial Representation

Toronto, Ontario & Los Angeles, California (July 29, 2026) – Culture-defining production company Fela today announces the addition of Luke Brookner to its diverse roster of talent for commercial representation. Balancing crafted visual storytelling with naturalism, Brookner’s films are sharp, clever, and attuned to the moment.

Brookner has helmed campaigns for global brands including Adidas, Netflix, Puma, Pinterest, Nike, and Electronic Arts, and has specialized in working with some of the world’s top athletes, including Paul Pogba, Jack Grealish, and Declan Rice. His short film, Heirlooms, received several nominations at the British Arrows, including one for best direction, and earned the Grand Prix Award for Performance at Kinsale Sharks, along with Gold and Silver Awards from Creative Circle. Berlin Commercial, 1.4 Awards, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and Ciclope have also recognized his work.

With believability and performance at the heart of everything he does, whether it’s comedic or handling a heavy topic, Brookner makes work rooted in instinct, truth, and character. He’s interested in subtlety and nuance, and in finding those honest and sometimes awkward moments.

“Luke’s work is a combination of elevated craft and striking visuals, and is full of observational humour,” said Taj Critchlow, Founder and Executive Producer at Fela. “Extracting great performances out of talent and achieving something unexpected are his superpowers. We are excited about this new creative partnership and honoured to have him join our roster. We can’t wait to get started.”

“I really enjoyed meeting the Fela team,” said Brookner. “I’ve been a fan of the work for a while, and once we’d met, I could tell they are nice people with big ambitions. I’m happy to start working in the US and Canada, and I feel privileged to have the support of the Fela team around me.”

Brookner is also represented in the UK by Sticker Studios.
