Feels Like launches as a new digital design and innovation studio with roots from B-Reel

New global studio will combine fresh thinking with 25 years of experience in digital creativity.

Feels Like creates interfaces that do more and feel more, for some of the most exciting brands in the world. With a prestigious clientele including tech – and luxury fashion giants Google, LVMH, Airbnb and Saint Laurent, Feels Like sets out with a bold ambition within digital design and innovation.

In a world where brands constantly seek to establish their uniqueness in their brand communication, there’s an interesting paradox: Many of them end up looking and feeling the same in the digital space. Driven by the current state of digital design where conventions often stifle creativity, Feels Like wants to move beyond best practices to help shape the next 25 years of design and innovation.

“There’s been a big push on human centred design over the last decade, and that’s been great. We’ve got better user experiences today, across the board. But a side effect is that most apps and digital platforms look the same. It’s a missed opportunity to create more unique, impactful and true-to-brand experiences.”, says Petter Westlund, co-founder.

While maintaining a close collaboration with B-Reel – who will strengthen their focus on creative advertising – the studio operates independently out of its offices in Los Angeles and Barcelona and works cross-culturally with a team from around the globe. Feels Like’s mission is clear: to help brands craft distinctive stories and unique digital projects, through a process that balances data-informed methodology, artistic intuition and technical innovation.

Petter Westlund emphasizes: “Technologies such as AI and spatial computing open up an era of profound change and broadens our creative canvas. We’re curious and excited about using these to create new kinds of experiences, with humans at the centre.”

Feels Like is already on the move, including creating digital platforms for renowned brands of the LVMH Group, partnering with teams at Google to help create products used and viewed by millions across the globe, and joining forces with Nike to craft experiences that grabs people’s attention and inspires them to take action.

Looking to the future, Roger Palà, Managing Director of Feels Like, says: “We’re excited to launch Feels Like: rationality makes things work, art makes things magic. We believe in coupling data and artistic intuition to create unique digital experiences that connect with people in a deeper, more human way and help make brands more valuable. This is incrementally important for clients who dream big, and that’s why we are lucky to work with some of the most exciting brands in Luxury and Tech. We look forward to setting a new stage for what ‘digital’ can do and feel.”
