JustWatch has today released its Half Year Recap for 2026, spotlighting the most in-demand movies and TV series in the United States across subscription-based and free ad-supported streaming platforms during the first six months of the year.

From awards-season holdovers to summer’s earliest breakouts, the first half of 2026 saw a wide mix of titles capture U.S. audiences. On the movie side, Project Hail Mary led the pack, while Euphoria was the most in-demand series of the half year.

The rankings are based on more than 60 million monthly streaming interactions from U.S. JustWatch users.

• Euphoria led the TV series chart for the half year, followed by Stranger Things and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
