London: 8th April 2025: Global fan engagement agency Engage Digital Partners – part of media, marketing and technology company Brave Bison – has promoted Ollie Trenchard to Growth Director, APAC, as the agency looks to expand its footprint across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Ollie joined Engage in 2020, bringing a wealth of experience from Japan, Germany, and the UK, where he worked across sponsorship activation, digital content, and broadcast. Ollie has led high-profile client partnerships such as securing Premiership Rugby, United Rugby Championship, and Six Nations in the UK, alongside delivering campaigns for New Zealand Rugby & All Blacks’ record-breaking Rugby World Cup in 2023.

In 2022, Ollie relocated to Australia, tasked with developing Engage’s audience strategy and content production, which now delivers over 10,000 pieces of content annually to over a billion fans. He has also been pivotal in securing major partnerships with AFL, FIFA+, and OFC.

In his new role, Ollie will drive Engage’s growth across Australasia and APAC, leveraging his decade of experience working with rights-holders, federations, and sponsors in the sports industry. He will also spearhead the integration of Brave Bison’s performance services and SocialChain’s influencer marketing expertise into Engage’s offerings.

Ollie Trenchard, Growth Director, APAC, commented: “I am thrilled to be trusted with leading Engage’s expansion efforts across Australia and the broader APAC region. It’s an incredibly exciting period for us following our recent merger with Brave Bison and SocialChain, and I’m looking forward to expanding our offering in this market as we engage even more fans across the sports & entertainment industry. We’re amidst a golden decade for sport in Australia, with the Rugby World Cup 2027 & 2029 and 2032 Olympics set to grace our shores, and there’s no better place to be a part of it than the sporting capital of the world in Melbourne..”

Emma Kinlon, Executive General Manager at Engage APAC, added: “For me, appointing Ollie to this role was a no-brainer. As Engage embarks on a new chapter with Brave Bison and SocialChain, he steps into the role of Growth Director at the perfect time. Since moving from our London office to Australia in 2022, Ollie has been instrumental in driving audience growth and strategy for our clients. His firsthand knowledge of the APAC landscape positions us well to diversify our client portfolio and further strengthen Engage’s presence in the sports and entertainment landscape.”
