The new campaign from Sonny’s BBQ, “It’s Always Sonny’s Here,” is the restaurant’s first major brand campaign since Dunn&Co landed their business last year. This campaign, inspired by BBQ culture and modern Southern living, represents the beginning of a new chapter that celebrates its past and embraces the future. As one of Southeast’s beloved barbecue chains since the 1960s, Sonny’s BBQ understands the importance of providing a welcoming experience tailored to the diverse needs of its customers.
“It’s Always Sonny’s Here” opens with scenes of family gatherings, friends enjoying BBQ, and the relaxed Southern lifestyle. Central to these moments is the iconic Sonny’s BBQ cup. Whether on a desk, kitchen counter, or used as a coin jar, it symbolizes the brand’s integral role in everyday life. This cup travels with guests—from family BBQ nights to work, school, and home—allowing them to carry a piece of Sonny’s and the BBQ spirit wherever they go, beyond the restaurant experience.
