London, 18 September 2024: Creative advertising agency Droga5 – part of Accenture Song – has appointed Tamara Conyngham to Head of Strategy, reflecting its commitment to nurturing top talent and driving strategic excellence.
Tamara will take over the day-to-day responsibility of running the strategy department and driving the offering for clients such as Philips, Chase, Rustlers and AMEX GBT while reporting to CEO Bill Scott.
Tamara will help unlock more market-defining creative output for both global and domestic brands, fuelled by rigorous strategy rooted in brand purpose. Her impressive thinking has already won a Bronze Lion at Cannes in Sustainable Development Goals for “Address Point” – a service that provides a personal digital address allowing the homeless to get access to education, health, employment and social services.
Tamara was a digital strategist at Google before moving to JWT and then to Droga5 in Dublin, where she spent nearly three years. She joined Droga5 London in 2022 as a strategy director and recently oversaw the Philips Domestic Appliances global campaign launches. With a decade in brand strategy, she is also a two-time winner of the Irish Young Lions Competition and an Inclusive Leadership award.
“Tamara carries that rare combination of not just making the strategy and work better, but making those around her better. Our strategy team is in great hands under her leadership,” said Bill Scott, CEO of Droga5 London & Managing Director of Accenture Song.
“Getting the opportunity to lead and develop such a talented and diverse team of brilliant thinkers is a huge honour. As the demands on our work become increasingly varied and complex, the role of strategy in providing clarity and conviction is more vital than ever to inspire ideas that will truly cut through. We’re excited to share more of them with the world soon,” added Tamara.
Droga5 counts among its long-standing clients Barclaycard, Amazon, Coca-Cola and Philips Domestic Appliances.
