Richmond, VA [January 27, 2026] — Dotted Line Agency (DLA) has appointed Mark Pavia as Head of Media and AI. In this newly created role, Pavia will lead DLA’s in-house media planning and buying, and data analytics capabilities. He will also deepen and scale the agency’s AI-enabled media and AI Engine Optimization (AEO) offering, strengthening DLA’s ability to deliver measurable performance and long-term brand value for clients.
With prior career experience and leadership positions at ad-tech, media, and creative agencies including Clinch, LiveRamp, Starcom, and The Martin Agency, Pavia brings deep expertise across media strategy, creative, performance marketing, data strategy, analytics, marketing technology, and AI-driven activation. His leadership further cements DLA’s media offering as a strategic advantage for clients—from brand awareness and demand generation to performance activation and long-term loyalty.
Following a pivotal year of growth for DLA, including its acquisition of The King Agency and an expanded presence in Atlanta, Pavia joins DLA’s leadership team, including founder and CEO Lauren Sweeney; Ron Villacarillo, Head of Creative; Leslie Griles, Chief Client Officer; and Meggan Adams, Group Account Director.
“We’re spending more time thinking about where media, data, and AI are headed, and where the biggest growth opportunities for clients really are,” said Lauren Sweeney, Founder and CEO of DLA. “Mark brings the strategic and operational leadership needed to build toward that future. Over the past six months, he’s already partnered closely with our team in a consulting capacity, expanded our tech stack, and helped lead the most successful integrated campaign in Reynolds Community College’s history.”
DLA has built a reputation for bringing traditionally siloed capabilities together into integrated solutions for clients spanning strategy, creative excellence, and in-house media planning and buying. Under Pavia’s leadership, the agency will continue to deepen its use of AI-informed insights to improve data, creative resonance, and return on investment.
DLA’s integrated media services include:
- Strategic media planning grounded in data and audience insights
- Precision buying across channels and formats
- AI-powered data analytics and optimization to continuously improve performance
- AI Engine Optimization that works in tandem with SEO to unlock new growth opportunities
“I’m thrilled to join DLA at such a pivotal moment,” said Pavia. “Media is evolving quickly, and AI is fundamentally changing how brands understand audiences and drive impact. I’m excited to help our clients not just adapt, but lead.”
