DOOH impacts of Circuito Gran Vía, managed by Callao City Lights, grew by 29.4%.

Madrid, January 23, 2025 – The audience of the digital screens of Circuito Gran Vía, the largest large-format digital circuit in urban environments in Spain, managed by Callao City Lights, has grown again.

Specifically, the number of DOOH impacts registered by the screens of Circuito Gran Vía increased by 29.4% in 2024 with respect to 2023, going from 603.7 million in 2023 to 781.3 million in 2024. The latter figure represents an average of more than 2.1 million impacts per day and more than 14.9 million impacts per week, according to figures provided by Inspide.

Circuito Gran Vía is made up of 15 large-format digital advertising screens: those of the Callao Cinemas and those of the Lope de Vega, Coliseum and Rialto theaters. These screens are located in Madrid’s Gran Vía, the second busiest street in Europe, and in the Callao square, the busiest in Spain.

An upward trend that we are confident will continue in the coming years and which is also influenced by the fact that we are present with our screens in one of the main European capitals, such as Madrid, a focus of national tourism, thanks among other things to musicals and shows, and international tourism,” says Gorka Pagazaurtundua, commercial director of Callao City Lights.

About Callao City Lights

Callao City Lights is a pioneer in large format digital outdoor advertising in urban centers, thanks to its two large screens located on the facades of the Callao Cinemas. These supports are equipped with the latest innovations (3D, OnAir technology, live broadcasts, mobile retargeting, interactivity, contextualized creativity…) and with the best image quality in the market.

Likewise, since June 2022, Callao City Lights markets Circuito Gran Vía, the largest large-format digital circuit in urban environments in Spain. Made up of the outdoor screens (15) of the Callao Cinemas and the Coliseum, Lope de Vega and Rialto theaters (4 of the 7 theaters on Madrid’s Gran Vía), it has a total advertising area of 460m2 and allows brands to reach the public along the Callao/Plaza de España axis, which is particularly popular for its tourist, commercial and entertainment attractions.

In addition, Callao City Lights manages the Callao Cinemas space where the most important premieres and events in Madrid take place. A privileged place for its history and technological equipment, both for corporate events and for the film world.

The Callao Cinemas are located in the heart of Madrid, in the Plaza del Callao, the third busiest square in Europe and the busiest in Spain (150 million people a year).
