Independent creative agency announces Ian as non-executive chairman
Ian will be responsible for boosting the agency’s reputation and for strategic business guidance and development across all clients. He brings over 30 years of advertising experience to the agency. In 2002, Ian became the founding ‘P’ in VCCP, now the UK’s biggest ad agency. He has also previously worked as managing director at HHCL, which was named Agency of the Decade during his tenure.
During his impressive career, Ian has worked on a bunch of notable accounts, including O2, Guinness, Pot Noodles, Bacardi Martini, Department of Health, 2012 Olympics, and Prudential. Ian led VCCP to a Grand Prix win at the IPA Effectiveness Awards Grand for his work with O2.
Ian currently holds a number of roles including global chairman of Grace Blue Partnership and chief executive officer of Onwards & Upwards, a charity that creates jobs for ex-offenders.
Jo Tanner, founding partner and creative director at Dog Cat & Mouse, says, “We are thrilled to be working with Ian again. His strategic brain and industry knowledge, insight and network are second to none.”
Ian Priest says, “I’ve been looking for a small agency I can help grow, especially one with creative effectiveness at its heart, which Dog Cat & Mouse has in spades.”
