LOS ANGELES, CA – Lord Danger, the creative production company and key part of the Monstera Group of creative companies, has added director Shiraz to its roster. Known for his visually compelling style and distinctive “skate-punk” aesthetic that is a large part of why his music video collaborations with hip-hop artist bbno$ have scored tens of millions of views on YouTube alone, such as “It Boy” with over 23 million views, and “Check” with almost 9 million views.

Shiraz joins a roster that includes Mike Diva, Neil Huxley, Ben Steiger Levine, Cache Bunny, MP Curtet, and Parker Seaman.

“Shiraz’s style is so innovative and visually compelling that it got our attention immediately,” Anthony Ficalora, Lord Danger Executive Producer, says. “I think his distinctive approach will resonate particularly well for brands and agencies that target a younger, digitally savvy consumer in sectors like technology, fashion, and entertainment. His storytelling techniques are perfect for Gen Z and millennial consumers who grew up on social media. His work with bbno$ and collaborations on projects promoting financial responsibility to younger audiences highlight his ability to create content that both connects with viewers and is brand-aligned.”

For Shiraz, joining Lord Danger felt like a natural progression in his career.

“From my conversations with the team and the other directors on the roster, I just felt like you guys ‘got’ me and my work in an important way,” Shiraz says. “I feel poised to make some big steps in my career right now, but it’s going to require people who understand what I’m capable of and how to get me into the right positions to show the industry, and that’s Lord Danger.”

Jack Ass Inspired:

Originally from Victoria, BC region of Canada, Shiraz ditched law school in 2011 for a creative career, inspired by seeing Jackass 3D in theatres. “I realized life is too short not to do what you love, and that if Johnny Knoxville and the boys can make a living kicking each other in the balls, I don’t need to be a damn lawyer,” Shiraz jokes.

From there, he pursued both acting and stand-up comedy but found his real talents lay behind the camera. His most celebrated work includes developing the visual brand of hip hip artist bbno$, launching YouTube channels like “Ghost Town Living” and “The Daily Stoic,” and working with a wide range of musicians, including Juelz, Divine, Diplo, Rebecca Black, Yung Gravy; and with best-selling authors Tony Robbins, Robert Greene, Ryan Holiday, Neil Pasricha, and Tim Ferriss.

His commercial work includes a collaboration with the Bank of Montreal and bbno$ via agency FCB, Montreal, targeting a young audience about financial responsibility.

“My style is always seeking to achieve is to create iconic imagery,” Shiraz notes. “I love taking familiar images or ideas, and then turning them on their head, or mashing them together, so that you are looking at something that feels both brand new and familiar simultaneously. My work is maybe best described as a fever-dream collage. I think I’m often combining images that live in my head or one of my endless collections of pictures, posters, files, etc., and seeing how I can make them something new.”
