Digital Natives appoints ex-Cannes LIONS and Weber Shandwick commercial lead as first Chief Growth Officer

Global, social-first creative agency, Digital Natives, has appointed Amy Hopkinson as its first Chief Growth Officer – a hire which comes on the back of recent new client wins including KP Snacks and Fujifilm.

The appointment is the latest strategic hire within the past few months, including, most recently, new US MD, Patrick Richardson, all of which will support continued client growth and new business expansion.

Hopkinson, who has previously held senior roles at both Cannes LIONS and Weber Shandwick, will be focusing on strengthening existing client relationships at a global level, as well as leading on new business and marketing initiatives.

Commenting on the appointment, Digital Natives’ Co-Founder, Alistair Fitch, said: “Hiring our first Chief Growth Officer demonstrates our increased commitment to deepening our client partnerships, as well as to continuing to scale our business.

“Amy brings with her a wealth of client and commercial experience from some of the biggest names in our industry. We’re looking forward to working with her to unlock growth opportunities for our clients and our agency alike.”

Hopkinson added, “The marketing industry is changing at pace, with the smartest brands quickly beginning to understand that a social-first approach is what’s needed to propel them forward. Digital Natives know exactly how to advise clients to win in this space, which is exactly why it feels like the right time to be joining this brilliant, established and truly independent agency.”
