Las Vegas, January 6, 2026 – Dell Technologies made a triumphant return to the consumer and gaming spotlight at CES 2026. Jeff Clarke, Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer, emphasized a return to the company’s roots: exceptional products in design, performance, and accessibility—without compromising quality at any price tier.
The highlight of the event was the resurgence of the XPS lineup, which stood out for its portability. Dell unveiled the new XPS 14 and XPS 16, redesigned in CNC-machined aluminum, with an ultra-thin profile of just 14.6 mm—the thinnest laptops in the brand’s history.
The XPS 14 weighs around three pounds, shedding more than half a pound compared to the previous generation, while the XPS 16 drops nearly a full pound, coming in at 3.6 pounds.
Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and Intel Arc graphics with 12 Xe cores, the laptops boast industry-leading battery life: up to 27 hours of Netflix streaming or more than 40 hours of local video playback.
Display options include tandem OLED panels, delivering an immersive visual experience.
Dell Expands the XPS Family
Dell also announced that by late 2026 it will expand the XPS family with new form factors and price ranges, including the return of the XPS 13, which is expected to be the thinnest, lightest, and most affordable model in the lineup to date.
In gaming, Alienware revealed an ambitious expansion plan: it will double its laptop portfolio to reach a broader audience, from hardcore enthusiasts to casual gamers and hybrid users who balance work and entertainment.
Two new categories will be introduced: an ultra-thin gaming laptop measuring approximately 17 mm thick, combining high performance with portability, and a more affordable entry-level model priced significantly lower.
Notable models include the Alienware 16 Area-51, 16X Aurora, and 18 Area-51, featuring Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and anti-reflective OLED displays that deliver deep blacks, vibrant colors, and high contrast even in bright environments.
Meanwhile, the Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD-OLED, winner of the CES 2026 Innovation Award, is the first commercial DisplayHDR True Black 500 QD-OLED monitor with anti-reflective technology.
