São Paulo, July 2026 – Director Rog Souza has joined the roster at CZAR São Paulo, marking a new chapter for the production company in Brazil through its partnership with the Landscape ecosystem.
Highly adaptable to advertising, Rog’s greatest strength lies in his meticulous approach to every script, immersing himself in each subject and translating it into compelling visuals and seamless storytelling, regardless of the creative challenge. He holds a degree in Journalism from PUCRS and later specialized in dramatic structure in Cuba. Rog is recognized for his realistic, cinematic visual language and his ability to craft narratives that foster a genuine connection between stories and their cast.
His arrival comes as CZAR São Paulo expands its positioning, evolving into a platform for creative collaboration and global production that connects Brazil with international markets. Alongside Rog, Thais Urenha joins as Head of Business, reporting to Renata Munaretto, Chief Production Officer (CPO) at Landscape.
This new phase combines access to international directors, production capabilities across multiple territories, and cross-border operations while simultaneously creating new global opportunities for Brazilian talent and productions.
The initiative is designed to allow projects to move more fluidly between markets—whether by bringing international directors to produce in Brazil or taking Brazilian projects abroad with full creative, operational, and financial support. Laura Rocha, who leads Landscape’s international business vertical, will oversee this initiative.
From contract management to international logistics and cross-border financial transactions, the integrated structure created by Landscape and CZAR aims to simplify the complexities traditionally associated with global productions.
“The invitation to join CZAR came at a moment of reflection after spending five years as one of the owners of a nationally acclaimed production company. I had already realized that I wanted to focus more on the creative side, dedicating myself fully to directing and taking my craft even further.
Being able to concentrate exclusively on what happens in front of the camera, with the support of Landscape and within CZAR’s exceptionally high standards, inspired me to make this move.”
According to Gustavo Gripe, founder of Landscape, the partnership with CZAR plays a strategic role in the ecosystem’s international expansion plans.
“CZAR is a key part of our vision of connecting Landscape to the global production market. More than simply creating access to international productions, we want to foster an active creative exchange where Brazilian talent can gain global exposure while productions from around the world find a strong creative and operational partner in Brazil,” says Gustavo Gripe.
Under its new positioning, CZAR São Paulo will focus on four core areas: representing local directors, representing international directors, providing financial facilitation for productions abroad, and offering production services across different regions of Brazil.
