LITTLE ROCK, Ark., April 29, 2026 — The Communications Group (ComGroup), Arkansas’s premier marketing and public relations agency, today announced the promotion of Hannah Phillips, APR to Public Relations Manager.
“Hannah’s promotion reflects both her skills as a professional and focus on innovation to serve the evolving needs of our clients,” said ComGroup President Lisa Van Hook, MA, APR. “Her unique abilities in media relations and strategic thinking makes her a valued member of our team and an asset to our public relations service offering.”
In her new position, Phillips manages public relations accounts and serves as strategic counsel to clients, leading media relations programs, developing communications strategy and coordinating integrated public relations initiatives. This promotion also reflects her role as the agency’s Research Project Coordinator, managing research initiatives that inform messaging, campaign planning and client decision-making.
Phillips recently earned the coveted APR credential from the Public Relations Society of America. The APR credential is the public relations profession’s highest certification, awarded to practitioners who demonstrate advanced competence in strategic planning, ethics and measurable program management. Her achievement helped distinguish The Communications Group as one of the few agencies in the region with a fully accredited public relations team.
Phillips’ management promotion reflects ComGroup’s continued investment in professional development and its commitment to delivering strategic, research-informed communications solutions for organizations across North America and Europe.
