NEW YORK, April 7, 2026 — After bringing down the house last year, renowned Emmy winning comedian and actress Leslie Jones will make an encore performance to host The One Show 2026, taking place at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street on May 15 as part of Creative Week 2026.

Jones spent six years as a cast member and writer for NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”, where she was twice nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.  She has also hosted the ABC game show “Supermarket Sweep”, headlined numerous comedy tours and festivals, and starred in films including the 2016 “Ghostbusters”. Her recent special, “Life Part 2”, streaming on Peacock, was the highest debut by a female comedian.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Leslie Jones back as host of The One Show,” said Adam Izen, Chief Awards Officer at The One Club.  “Last year, she brought an incredible energy to the stage — celebrating our industry with genuine love while delivering a few fiery roasts that kept everyone on their toes. We can’t wait to see what she brings to the stage this year.”

The One Show 2026 Members Choice Award

This year’s show will also feature the announcement of the inaugural One Show Members Choice Award winner.  Anyone with an active membership to The One Club for Creativity will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite work from among top One Show 2026 winners.

The new accolade is designed to engage the global creative community, and provide a platform for them to have a direct say in recognizing the best work of the year.

2026 Creative Hall of Fame inductees announced

Another new element of this year’s One Show ceremony will be the announcement of 2026 inductees to the prestigious Creative Hall of Fame.

The Creative Hall of Fame has a rich heritage of honoring the lifetime achievements of creative luminaries in advertising, design, and education, starting with the induction of Leo Burnett in 1961.  In its current incarnation, it encompasses inductees into the Copywriters Club Hall of Fame (1961–1974), the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame (1972–2012), and the Educators Hall of Fame (2012–present).

Responses to the open global call for nominations — focused on the criteria of industry impact, influence and inspiration — were reviewed by The One Club Board of Directors, who then selected this year’s inductees from a shortlist.  The 2026 inductees will be celebrated at a special black-tie fundraising ceremony in September in New York.
