Code and Theory Strengthens Digital Transformation Leadership with Former Accenture and Meta Execs

AI is forcing enterprises to rethink how they operate, market and serve customers. As that happens, technology and creativity are collapsing into the same work. At Code and Theory, that shift is already underway, creatives are coding, engineers are shaping experiences, and teams are building new products, platforms and AI-powered systems alongside clients. We’re investing in senior technology leadership to push that model further, strengthening what we can build, how fast we can build it and the level of transformation we can deliver at enterprise scale.

Two new global leaders have joined the team to provide further guidance internally and help clients turn this convergence into practical systems and measurable impact: Deepthi Reddy Sanikommu as Group Director, Enterprise Platforms and Dave Thomas as Group Director of Technology.

Together, they will deepen Code and Theory’s Adobe enterprise platform delivery and accelerate agentic workflow capabilities through The Machine, Stagwell’s agentic operating system for marketing. Their appointments build on Code and Theory’s 25-year model, which brings together 50% creatives and 50% engineers to help organizations move from emerging technology to meaningful business change.

Sanikommu will lead Code and Theory’s global Enterprise Platforms discipline, expanding architecture and delivery across the firm’s Adobe practice and helping shape the next generation of AI-enabled enterprise transformation solutions. Thomas will lead engineering for The Machine, advancing capabilities across agentic workflow orchestration, semantic search and AI-powered optimization.

Sanikommu is a global technology executive with more than two decades of experience building and scaling enterprise technology practices, leading large-scale digital transformation programs and helping global organizations modernize customer experience platforms across consulting and enterprise organizations in Australia and India. She has held leadership roles at Accenture, EY and Merkle and is recognized for building high-performing architecture, engineering and AI teams while scaling enterprise platform capabilities across regions.

Thomas is a veteran technology executive, software architect and AI strategist with experience building software products and leading transformation through emerging technologies. Before Code and Theory, he held senior engineering and AI leadership roles at Upside and led product and engineering teams at Meta, Indeed, Xpanse, SolarWinds and venture-backed startups.

David DiCamillo, Chief Technology Officer at Code and Theory, says: “Deepthi and Dave are the kind of leaders who raise the ceiling for what our organization can deliver globally, at enterprise scale and with real momentum in AI. Deepthi brings deep platform and transformation leadership across the Adobe ecosystem and Dave brings rare experience building AI-powered systems and products. Together, they strengthen our ability to help clients modernize the systems that power experience, performance and decision-making.”

Sanikommu says: “Enterprise transformation is only real when it shows up in the platforms people use every day and when teams can evolve those platforms as fast as customers evolve. Code and Theory brings experience, engineering and AI together in a way that’s built to deliver. My focus is on building a global Enterprise Platforms capability that combines strong engineering, modern architecture and AI to help clients modernize faster, simplify complex ecosystems and deliver measurable business outcomes.”

Thomas says: “The next competitive advantage won’t be who has access to AI. It will be who redesigns their operating model around it. The Machine is built to help enterprises make that transition, turning agentic capability into a practical system that improves speed, quality and decision-making.”
