Clio is the iconic vehicle known to all. But did you really know the origin of Clio?

After nearly 17 million vehicles sold, the diamond brand’s best-seller is back for a sixth generation, making its new campaign a return to its roots and the origin of its name.

Clio has not only been the brand’s iconic model for 35 years, it also carries an older heritage: that of the Muse of History. A figure that reminds us that stories must be passed on, shared, and engraved. Today, to continue writing its own history, Renault is opening a new chapter.

THE MUSE.

Renault and Publicis Conseil are launching the new Renault CLIO full hybrid E-Tech with an epic, anachronistic film that revisits a Greek myth, using modern codes tailored specifically for the car, which only Clio could embody. Directed by Rupert Sanders (WANDA) and MJZ, it showcases the new Renault Clio in a cinematic masterpiece, with scenes each more artistic than the last and completely original. 

We discover Clio, muse of history, weary of a world she considers too static, too monotonous. Driven by a deep need for renewal, she dares to take a radical step: imagining what could finally give her back her momentum, emotion, and desire, and the Muse created… the new Renault Clio full hybrid E-Tech. 

A powerful, confident, deep voiceover narrates the story. The sound design immerses us in a real cinematic experience. New Order’s song “Crystal” structures the film’s rising tension.

A cocktail of details that shape an astonishing, extraordinary film.

NEW RENAULT CLIO FULL HYBRID E-TECH.

The new Renault Clio has a bold, sporty, and emotional style that embraces Renault’s modern and tech-savvy design language.

Equipped with a redesigned interior and ultra-technological details, including the openR link multimedia system with Google built in (a first in this vehicle category), which provides access to over 100 navigation, information, and entertainment apps. It also features voice control with Google Assistant and Google Maps, offering drivers smoother navigation. 

In terms of driving comfort, it features a Harman Kardon® high-fidelity audio system and four Multisense driving modes.

Its 29 advanced driver assistance systems make the driving experience safer. Like the Safety Score feature, Safety Coach provides personalized advice to optimize driving.

In terms of powertrain, it is equipped with the new E-Tech 160 hp full hybrid engine, which propels it to the highest level with unparalleled driving pleasure: responsive and instant acceleration, 80% of driving time in the city and suburbs in 100% electric mode, a battery that regenerates automatically while driving, and up to 1,000 kilometers of range without recharging.

Clio offers a complete range of engines, from hybrid to Tce 115 gasoline, including a new Eco-G 120 hp LPG engine (available from spring 2026).

The Muse campaign will be broadcast in France from December 24, 2025.

The new Renault Clio is now available to order and in dealerships.
