February 2026 – Created and produced in Brazil by Cezar Brandão, associate producer at the Brazilian sound production company Blood Audio, the original music for the game Clash Royale — “The Undead March”, by Finnish company Supercell — is the only Brazilian project nominated for the international Cinematic Awards.
In its first edition, the awards, organized by the Society for Game Cinematics in the United States, recognize and celebrate the highest standards of creativity and excellence within the global gaming community. The ceremony honors high-impact projects across multiple categories, including design, direction, editing, sound and original music, trailers, and performances.
The Cinematic Awards is the first industry honor dedicated exclusively to the art of video games, bringing together cinema and interactive media, and highlighting the creators behind some of the most iconic and unforgettable moments in gaming. The first edition of the awards will take place on March 10, 2026, at the AMC Metreon 16 IMAX Theater in San Francisco, during the week of the GDC Game Festival.

The Brazilian project nominated
The 71st season of Clash Royale — “The Undead March” — was released globally in March last year. It introduces a new card evolution to the game: the Evolved Witch.
Mooncolony, a UK-based studio specializing in conceptual art and illustration outsourcing, produced the animation, directed by David Ferguson. Brazilian artist André Forni, a professional specializing in illustration, animation, and art direction, is one of the artists working on the game at Supercell.
The creator and producer of the soundtrack, Cezar Brandão, through his production company Ganso Music, associated with Blood Audio, celebrates the nomination. “Being nominated in the very first edition of the Cinematic Awards for the work on Clash Royale — ‘The Undead March’ — is an honor. This project began with the music. From it, the entire visual universe that brings this game animation to life was built,” he says.
