In 2023, Dan Wieden, the legendary co-founder of Wieden+Kennedy and Lion of St Mark recipient, put forward an idea for a new Lion Award: one dedicated to game-changing work. Work that ‘stops the industry in its tracks and make us reconsider the way forward’.
Later that year, the Titanium Lions were born – and his definition is still used today.
