New York, NY (May 27, 2026) – Cabin Editing Company today announced the promotion of editors Dylan Edwards and Matt Schaff to partners in the company’s New York office. Edwards and Schaff have been with Cabin’s New York outpost since it first opened in 2021, and have played an integral role in establishing its collaborative culture and loyal client base, in addition to contributing to the company’s award-winning portfolio of work. In the last few years, Cabin has been named the industry’s Editorial Company of the Year by the likes of Ciclope, Ad Age, and Shots, with many more accolades for its projects from Cannes Lions, D&AD, AICP, and more.

“Dylan and Matt have been with me at Cabin New York since day one, and they’ve really become leaders within our business – they are not only destination editors for many of our agency and brand clients, they’re also extremely generous with mentoring younger talent and paying it forward,” shared Meade. “It’s an honor to bring them into the leadership fold as partners, and I know they will continue to make their mark here at Cabin.”

“When we joined Cabin in 2021, it was under the wing of greats like Sam Ostrove, Chan Hatcher, and Isaac Chen. Watching them execute at such a high level and having the opportunity to climb to a space remotely in their sphere is an immense honor,” said Edwards and Schaff in a joint statement. “The mission at Cabin was to build a creative-led, editor-driven shop before anything else. It was never about titles, or clout, or money. It was only about the work. What has been built here as a result of that ethos is a real and honest culture that we are insanely proud to be a part of. This is such a pinch yourself moment for us and we’re grateful to be able to do it together and take it even further.”

Edwards and Schaff will join New York’s leadership team alongside Managing Partner Maggie Meade, Editor and Partner Nick Divers, Executive Producers Hope DuHaime and Zack Herpy, and Head of Production Lisa Barnable.
