Madrid, 22/04/2026 — The creative school Brother Madrid commemorates its tenth anniversary with the launch of “Resistencia,” a spot produced by Oriental Films. The audiovisual piece reflects the school’s style in training new generations of creatives and also marks the beginning of a series of initiatives with which the school will celebrate this milestone throughout the year. The premiere of the piece also coincides with the opening of Oriental Films’ new office in Spain.
Under the message “10 years teaching how to stand up for what you love,” the spot is presented as a metaphor for the creative process and the character the school instills in its students: the ability to argue, protect, and carry their ideas through to the end.
The piece was conceived as a celebration of Brother Madrid’s journey since its founding, highlighting its role as a space for learning, inspiration, and connection with the creative industry. Through a carefully crafted visual approach and contemporary storytelling, “RESISTENCIA” aims to pay tribute to both its students and the professionals who have passed through its classrooms.

True to its philosophy—where students and alumni are at the core of the project—the school wanted this celebration to be built from within. To that end, ten students and alumni from different generations actively participated in the development of the spot, taking on various roles within the creative and production process.
But if there is one thing that defines Brother, beyond its methodology or results, it is attitude. In a context where being creative is increasingly difficult, the school champions a way of approaching ideas based on nonconformity, curiosity, and the passionate defense of one’s own work. An attitude that cannot be taught as a technique, but is transmitted day by day, and which has become its hallmark.
“In these 10 years, we have understood that we must focus on enhancing the creative personalities that come to the school. That’s why we base our approach on an experience that boosts self-confidence and helps overcome fear in a wide range of situations—whether it’s fear of ridicule, stigmatization, or simply making mistakes. Some of the greatest ideas have emerged from overcoming the most devastating insecurity,” says Mauro Suárez, CEO of Brother, about the initiative.

For the production company Oriental Films and its director Charly Gutierrez, Resistencia meant taking on the challenge of translating a cinematic language deeply tied to epic storytelling—trench warfare films with echoes of the First World War—into a completely unexpected territory: that of ideas.
The campaign stages something essential to the creative process: resistance. That persistence, sometimes irrational, of holding onto an idea when everything around pushes against it, combining epic, surrealism, and humor from an unconventional perspective.
“Along this path, it is also key to support the growth of Brother Escuela de Creativos, an institution with which we share a common way of understanding and defending ideas, and whose evolution we closely follow,” adds the director about the collaboration.
“Resistencia” also coincides with the opening of Oriental Films’ new office in Spain, marking a milestone in the company’s expansion: a creative and production bridge between Latin America and Europe that fosters new opportunities, reflected in this work. This expansion also comes at a time of strong international recognition, consolidating the production company as a leading force in the industry in the region.
