Just as the FIFA World Cup and America’s 250th captivated the mainstage, Be The People was sparking a different kind of national moment. The recently unveiled 10-year call to action, Be The People, connects organizations in communities across the country with millions of Americans ready to do their part to help solve the problems holding people back and invites them to share their stories and inspire others to do the same.
But the numbers speak for themselves. In the weeks since launching, Be The People social platforms reached 530K followers across our social channels — surpassing its 500K annual goal only seven weeks into the campaign. The anthem for this movement ‘Gotta Be US’, has over 1.3M streams to date (for comparison, only about 1% of the 37 million songs released in 2023 ever crossed 1 million streams).
Be The People has also inspired some major impact on the ground in communities where they’ve hosted immersive events:
