Bastion has been appointed creative and media agency for Geely Auto Australia following a competitive pitch cementing the agency’s position as a partner built for modern brand growth.

The win sees Bastion delivering fully integrated creative and media services to support the launch and expansion of Geely Auto Australia in the Australian market. The partnership brings together strategy, creativity, media and communications to build brand impact across the full funnel in a highly competitive category.

Bastion is built for the modern marketer and exists to put brands organisations and people in a position of strength and the Geely appointment reflects that ambition in action. By uniting creative and media from the outset Bastion will help Geely cut through, drive consideration and build long term momentum.

Anna Cherry, Managing Director of Media at Bastion said:

“Geely entered Australia with confidence and clear intent. Our focus is on accelerating that momentum – applying disciplined, insight-led media strategy to drive sustained growth, deeper consideration and measurable commercial impact in a highly competitive automotive market journey to deliver accountable, long-term growth.”

Ana Lynch, Managing Partner, Advertising Sydney at Bastion said the partnership was built on shared ambition and pace.

“This partnership is built on a deeply aligned ambition to challenge convention and accelerate Geely Auto Australia’s growth through bold, innovative thinking. Together, we’re focused on redefining what modern automotive marketing can look like in an increasingly dynamic and tech-led category.”

Beryl Thomas, Marketing Director for Geely Auto Australia said Bastion stood out for its strategic clarity and integrated capability.

“Bastion showed a deep understanding of our brand and our growth ambitions in Australia. Their integrated approach and clear point of view gave us confidence they are the right partner to help build Geely in this market.”

The appointment comes amid continued momentum for Bastion as it combines the scale and capability of a global network with the agility of an independent. Recent milestones include the launch of Bastion DBX and Bastion Media, the acquisitions of Daymark and Catch and a series of senior appointments across Australia, New Zealand and the US all demonstrating the company’s unwavering focus on global growth and innovation.
