MEMPHIS, TN – October 28, 2024 – Archer, a full-service independent agency with a 70+-year legacy, is excited to announce that Sue Batterton is joining the shop as Chief Creative Officer, effective December 2, 2024. Batterton spent the past three years in the same role at TRG in Dallas, TX. During her time at TRG, Batterton partnered closely with Archer CEO Rob VanGorden to lead new business efforts and key agency accounts.

Batterton has led creative efforts for clients including Jeep, Ram Trucks, Alfa Romeo, Sub-Zero, Wolf, ULTA Beauty, Go RVing, NatureSweet Tomatoes, and Biltmore Estate. Over the years, her writing has been honored by Communication Arts, The One Show, Lürzer’s Archive, and the National ADDY Awards.
As Chief Creative Officer, Batterton will lead creative efforts for Archer’s growing agency client roster, including Palm Beach Tan, Wind Creek Hospitality, American Snuff Company, Virbac, Riverbeat Music Festival, Smokeslam BBQ Festival, and Capital Farm Credit.
